NFA Burger: Reviews & Ratings

Before I give my review I want to give the caveat that I am a person that tries not to feed into the 'hype'. In fact, I purposely avoid restaurants where I can't find at least ONE bad review but on Friday I just couldn't resist my curiously any further and stopped by NFA Burger for dinner. Outfitted as an extension of a Chevron, when you walk inside the right side is fitted with a grill, menu, and ordering stand. In my case, there was bit of a line but it moved extremely quickly. When it was my turn, I treated myself to Billy's Classic 'as is' (per everyone's recommendations) with the addition of grilled onions, and the sassy tots because well, if I see tater tots on the menu I'm going to get them. You have the option of either waiting inside for your food or they will bring it out to your car which I thought was nice! Very shortly after, my brown sack of gold was delivered to my window. After a short drive home, I was finally able to pass my final judgement. As good as everyone raves about. Though Billy's classic is a double, the patties are smashed so it's not big and intimidating. The softness of the bread was my favorite part and with every bite I felt like my mouth was literally melting into the burger. Meat, pieces of onion, cheese, sassy sauce, and a little bit of kick... with every bite. I'm not a huge fan of burgers, but these made me a believer. The tater tots were hot and crispy with a soft center and even better in sassy sauce and ketchup. Very flavorful! For both the burger, add-on, and tater tots I paid about $15, For the quality of the burger, the service, and the portion I can count it as worth it and plan to revisit once I get another burger craving!

I have been wanting to come here for the burgers and finally got the chance to. It is inside of a gas station and you order inside. They don't take orders over the phone. We got a double and crinkle fries along with a Belgian waffle. They ask for you car model and they bring it out to you when it's ready. The burger was moist and a smash burger. It has good flavor. The fries were fine with seasoning. The Belgian waffle is crispy outside with sugar. Overall, a good experience. Not sure if I would agree to best burger in Atlanta.

Eating at a picnic table outside of a gas station has never been more fulfilling. One of the best burgers I've had. Don't be discouraged by a long line- it goes fairly quickly. The burger patties are heavily seasoned, so expect a lot of flavor. The sassy sauce is a more savory and slightly spicy Zac sauce. The tots are also fantastic- crunchy on the outside and soft inside.

Life's greatest pleasures are often found inside gas stations. Heard about NFA from office small talk. Apparently the burgers here have the ability to end war, extinguish famine, and are in theory the solution to all of the worlds' maladies I can confidently say that the taste of these burgers alone would make even the worlds most diametrically polar-opposite and vehemently inflammatory individuals come together on the picnic tables out back and smash down a few burgers with sassy sauce and twisted tea tall boys. To be honest, I was feeling rather phlegmatic about the stochasticity of modern day life. NFA burgers reeled me in and gave me a deep appreciation of the present day --- and the meats.

We stopped by at 5:30 pm on Saturday, 5/25/24. There were enough parking spots and no line to order! We sat at the picnic tables outside, and someone brought our food out to us. Our food was ready in minutes. No frills, quick service. Here's what we got: - Double / Billy's Classic ($8): So good! With how smashed the burgers are, I think you have to get at least a double. I got it "as is," and I would always get it that way! - Tater Tots ($4.50): Sooo good and crispy. The sassy sauce is also delicious! - Sassy Fries ($4.50): Crinkle cut and crispy! The fries and tots come with a lot, so next time, we'll only get one and split it. Tots vs. fries is a personal preference--they were both so good! Highly recommend! We'll be back!

This establishment is strangely located within a gas station. You order with the employee at the iPad station, and they take the food out to your car (they ask what car you're driving) or one of the picnic tables. A pretty decent burger at a decent price point. Though the burger was super salty, it made up for it's tastiness. It's a pretty simple burger (pickles is the only crazy part of it and maybe mustard (?)) if you don't like frills and such. It's a flatten patty so ordering the single angus beef patty will satisfy a crave, but the double is what's recommended due to the patty size. Even though I'm a light eater, I think getting the double won't be too much. I know getting the single for lunch wasn't enough. Lol. The portions for the fries and tots were so so. The one tot I tasted from my friend was super delicious as it appeared to be double fried and super duper crispy.

Absolutely delicious smash burger. It's a quick service setup with tables out back. The staff is friendly and efficient. They'll bring it out to you when it's ready. There some seating out back to accommodate the amount of diners. The tater tots are also stellar, so much crunch. I had to come back and add to this review because yesterday I just wanted to do a quick review as I was eating. Now I am missing the burger and wishing I had another bite of the perfectly texture crispy edges that still resulted in a very juicy burger with melted cheese and perfect seasoning , if you're a tater tot person, you know that nothing is more satisfying than the perfect golden crispy tater tot. These are fried in beef tallow and are the crispiest!! This was a perfect meal from a gas station.

I had never heard of NFA burger before, until a friend in California sent me a list of the best burgers in each state. Boy am I glad he did! When I was going to be in the Dunwoody area, I decided to try this place. I had not read all of the previous reviews, therefore, I found it a little challenging to find. My GPS pointed me in the direction of a Chevron gas station, and it took a minute to realize that NFA burger is actually inside. After parking and going inside, I knew I'd found the right place when I saw more than 10 people inside in line waiting to place their order. I joined the line and shortly thereafter it was my turn to place my order. I ordered the double cheeseburger with a side of tater tots. They do not sell beverages, but you can buy drinks from the Chevron mini market. They appear to be super efficient, because there's only a small handful of people in the kitchen, one expediter taking bags out to cars, and one person taking orders. The burger truly tasted great. Being from California, in and out is still one of my favorite burgers. However, this one might be a close second. Every bite is packed full of flavor, and their saucy sauce gives it a little kick of heat. The tater tots may have been some of the best I've ever had. They were cooked perfectly.
